We are excited to announce that it’s our 5th anniversary of the ODROID magazine! Justin Lee, CEO of Hardkernel, gives us the history of the company in our “Meet An ODROIDian” section. Additionally, Bruno does an amazing job of giving us a retrospective of ODROID magazine in his article. If you are nostalgic for Dreamcast games, @AreaScout teaches us how to build Reicast, a Dreamcast emulator, for our ODROID. The kernel for the XU4 gets some interesting changes to allow automatic frame rate control which every Kodi fan should read. Michael Larabel of phoronix.com, gives us his review of the ODROID-XU4. For our ODROID-C2 we have a look @Epeios’s Atlas Toolkit, a python toolkit for remote control of GPIO.

This month we celebrate Hardkernel’s 10-year anniversary with the release of the ODROID-GO, which is an amazing mobile development platform as well as retro-gaming system! We have a look at getting more acceleration from our XU4 with GPU accelerated Qt5 and OpenCL. We also look at getting a Tor relay, Recalbox, and Player Unknown’s Battleground (PUBG) running on our XU4 as well. Luckily we have a 2 part guide this month on liquid cooling to keep all these awesome projects running smoothly at peak performance.
